The Second Senatorial District Caucus Meetings will take place on Friday, June 12 from 8:00 am to 9:45 am  (SD 14 in Room 361CF). 

• Call to order by Permanent Caucus Chairman 

• Roll Call and seating of Delegates 

• Reading of the Minutes from previous caucus meeting 

• Announcement of the order of business 

• Nomination of State Chairman 

• Nomination of state Vice Chairman 

• Canvass of election results and final approval of the caucus report to the State Nominations Committee 

• Announcements 

• Adjournment of Caucus

State Convention Call & Notice:

The Republican Party of Texas State Convention will take place from June 11 – June 13, 2026, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, with opening ceremonies beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11. Temporary Committee Meetings will precede the State Convention and will meet as follows:

Temporary Rules Committee

• Monday, June 8 – beginning at 11:00 a.m.

• Tuesday, June 9 – beginning at 8:00 a.m.

• Wednesday, June 10 – beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Temporary Platform & Resolutions Committee

• Monday, June 8 – beginning at 11:00 a.m.

• Tuesday, June 9 – beginning at 8:00 a.m.

• Wednesday, June 10 – beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Temporary Legislative Priorities Committee
