Accountability wins elections: Work the polls

Recent Republican wins in Virigina and New Jersey teaches us one major lesson:

Voters are tired of the worn-out, failed, and Socialism-inspired ideas of the Democrats who currently run the House, Congress, and the Biden White House!

The 2022 Election Year is looking to be a lock for Republicans. Even in historically liberal strongholds like Austin and Travis County we're ready to pull off some surprise victories in November.

To do this we need EVERY Republican, conservative, and swing voter with common sense on our side.

But we have a problem: After accusations and discoveries of voting irregularities in Georgia and Arizona, some in our ranks are erroneously suggesting that voters stay home and boycott the election.

We have a better idea: keep an eye on our local elections by serving as an election judge, alternate judge, election clerk, or poll watcher!

Why? Because we're still winning elections!

The Travis GOP last year took the unprecedented step of appointing a second election committee -- an Elections Operations Committee to complement our Elections Integrity Committee. Both working groups have determined that, while there are still reforms to be made and challenges to address, having REPUBLICAN eyes on the process helps. We want to be able to tell voters that we have plenty of eyes on the process and will NOT allow cheating to occur in our backyard. Not on our watch. Not in Travis County.

Travis County Republicans, even during peak liberal turnout in recent years, can point to several important victories. Conservative wins in school board races, the restoration of the Austin homeless camping ban, the defeat of a double-tax scheme in Pflugerville, and the election of a Republican to the Austin City Council all tell us that our votes still make a tremendous difference.

But to keep up this momentum we need every polling place staffed with Republican election judges and workers! These positions pay, and you can pick a schedule that works for you. Learn more about how to sign up as an Election Judge, Alternate Judge, Clerk, or Poll Watcher.
