Next Chairman’s Circle Guest Chip Roy: Time For Kamala To Invoke 25th Amendment And Remove Biden

For our next Chairman's Circle special guest, it's not enough that Joe Biden ended his campaign for re-election.

Biden must now leave the White House, Congressman Chip Roy (Texas CD-21) said, citing numerous examples. Slurred statements. Nonsensical comments during the debate with Donald Trump. Kiddie steps on Air Force One. And recently 10 doses of Paxlovid following Biden's diagnosis of having COVID-19. Not to mention a general lack of a grasp on the ins and outs of the executive branch.

Roy has never been one to pull his punches. From calling on cutting unnecessary funding from the Secret Service (which he called a "small army") following the failed Trump assassination attempt to defending Trump's plan to send back 20 million illegal immigrants, Chip Roy is one of the most outspoken and consistent conservative voices on Capitol Hill.

Roy has been calling on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, questioning Biden's fitness to continue to serve as the nation's chief executive.

"You've got a president of the United States who is not all there. We all know that. We all see that. We've been talking about it," Roy told a Newsmax reporter.

Harris has been complicit in covering for Biden’s inadequacies, Roy noted, while other Democrat colleagues have cast a shadow of doubt over the president leading up to the suspension of his re-election campaign, such as Austin’s Lloyd Doggett.

"They put out statement[s] … where's Joe? Where is the president? We haven't seen him. We haven't heard from him. And the fact is, our enemies can see this. We need to be clear to our enemies that we have a commander-in-chief who can take out the duties, and we don't have one right now."

Roy continued that Harris is keeping Biden in office -- perhaps freeing her to pursue a more aggressive campaign schedule.

"The vice president, by the way, is neck deep in that. Kamala Harris is neck deep, along with Jill Biden, the White House physician, the White House chief of staff, the staff around him, and frankly, some of our Democratic colleagues who have been covering up with the president's mental deficiencies for the last year-plus," Roy continued. "There is quote after quote, after quote, the vice president saying he's sharp as a tack, and he's strong and he's vibrant, all these things.

"And this is actually a big deal. This is no small thing. This is the vice president of the United States lying to the American people and saying that the commander-in-chief is all there when he clearly is not. And I think that is a massive problem. And we're seeing it unfold before our eyes. There's a lot of political wrangling going on clearly by our Democratic colleagues because they don't love the vice president being their nominee. They're stuck there in the box they created, when they nominated a president who -- by the way, or are in the process of nominating a president who's mentally deficient. And their vice president was. And I've got in trouble for saying this, but it's true:

"a DEI vice president."
