Voting begins in the May 2023 Local Election

From police accountability, to school bonds, to local board and council candidates, to the creation of new taxing districts, your vote is important in the May 2023 local election, which begins today.

Your vote will make even more of an impact this year as we expect low turnout. Our political analyst friends tell us this election may attract the fewest voters of the entire decade, with so much attention being given to the presidential race and confusion lingering over new local districts and jurisdictions. So get in there and represent your neighbors who won't turn out! Better: contact the conservatives and tell them to vote with you all around Austin! Lines will be short.

TCRP voted to make recommendations in the following races:

City of Austin:
Prop. A: VOTE AGAINST
Prop. B: VOTE FOR

Leander ISD:
Props A-C: VOTE AGAINST

To discuss local races in more detail, you can visit the unofficial Travis Republicans Facebook Group. Please don't go into the polling place uninformed!

And as always, feel free to call or email headquarters. We work for you and are always happy to answer questions when we can.

Happy voting!
