Travis Appraisal District Board Now subject to direct voter approval

Three places are now on the ballot for the Travis County Appraisal District Board of Directors — for the first time thanks to new legislation.

The Travis County Republican Party Executive Committee voted unanimously on April 16 to endorse:

Place 1: Don Zimmerman

Place 2: Matt Mackowiak

Place 3: Bill May

Anyone in Travis County who is a registered voter can vote. This is a non-partisan election.

Early voting: Monday, April 22 - Tuesday, April 30 (M-Sa 7a-7p, Su 12-6p).

Election Day: Saturday, May 4 (7a-7p).
